Importance of Solar Power
Lower Electricity
Costs
Solar power significantly reduces your monthly electricity bill and increases the long-term value of your home.
Powers Entire Household
The energy you generate is fed directly into your private power grid — supplying lighting, electronic devices, pumps, and even car charging.
Flexible Installation Options
Solar modules can be mounted on rooftops, balconies, facades, carports, or scaled for solar parks.
Sustainable & Eco-Friendly
By using solar power, you actively reduce carbon emissions and support environmental protection. Exporters benefit from the EU Ecolabel.
Ideal for Morocco
Morocco benefits from exceptionally high solar irradiation, making solar installations highly efficient and attractive.
Unified Solution Provided by Atlas SolarTec
Solar Modules
Solar panels convert sunlight into direct current (DC) voltage. Atlas SolarTec supplies only high-quality, efficient and durable photovoltaic modules suitable for the Moroccan climate.
Solar Inverter
A power inverter connects the solar modules with your home’s electrical system. It converts DC voltage into 220V single-phase or 380V three-phase alternating current (AC), enabling safe and stable power for all electric household devices.
Lithium Batteries
Lithium batteries allow you to store excess solar energy. This increases efficiency, provides backup power, and improves your energy independence.
EV Charger
A wallbox charger can be seamlessly integrated into the system. Charge your electric vehicle directly with solar energy—clean, fast, and cost-effective.
Management App
A smart solar monitoring app gives you full control and transparency. Track your production, consumption, battery status, and optimize your energy flows in real time.
AI-Based System Optimization
Intelligent energy management powered by artificial intelligence ensures maximum efficiency. The system automatically distributes energy where it is needed most.
Installation & Service
Atlas SolarTec provides all components and handles every step: From pre-sale consulting and system design to installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Solar energy is converted into electricity with the help of solar modules. An inverter feeds the electricity generated by the solar modules into the existing household grid. Optionally, the solar system can be supplemented by a battery module for energy storage.
As the electricity generated by the solar system is fed into the household grid, all electrical devices can be operated, such as lighting, infotainment devices (TVs, smartphone adapters, Wi-Fi routers), kitchen appliances (refrigerator, water and coffee stove, oven and microwave, dishwasher), household appliances (washing machine, air conditioning), pumps (swimming pool), and charging of electric cars.
As a rule of thumb: on the approximately 290 days per year with sufficient sunshine in Morocco, electricity costs can be reduced by around 50% when no battery module is installed. With a sufficiently large battery module, electricity costs can be reduced by over 80%. More precise information depends on your individual electricity consumption—we will be happy to advise you.
If the power consumption exceeds the amount of solar energy provided, the difference is drawn from the public electric grid. This happens automatically and without voltage fluctuation. Customers need to pay for the difference only.
Tenants and residential communities can also benefit from solar energy. Additionally, Atlas SolarTec provides commercial and industrial solar installations.
This depends on the individual consumption and how the consumption is distributed over time. We will be happy to advise you.
No. There are no ongoing operating costs. Maintenance and cleaning costs are covered by Atlas SolarTec for an agreed period of time.
A residential installation is usually completed after three days. The solar modules are typically mounted on a roof top, but can also be mounted on open spaces, carports or balconies. The inverter is often installed in a utility room, as are the optional battery modules. Immediately after installation, the user benefits from lower power consumption.
With careful dimensioning: Yes.
A well-sized solar system typically pays for itself in about five years through lower electricity bills. The more energy you consume, the greater your savings. Let’s find the perfect system for you.
A battery module allows energy that is not used during the day to be stored and used at dawn, at dusk, and at night. A battery module is also useful for reducing power consumption peaks (e.g., from kitchen appliances and pumps). We recommend designing the solar system so that it can be retrofitted with a battery module.
There are several reasons for this. Firstly, customers save money every month because their electricity bills are significantly reduced. Customers are doubly rewarded in this respect, because in Morocco the tariff per kWh is reduced for lower consumption. Customers will benefit even more in the future, as higher electricity costs are likely for the coming years. In addition, customers are making a contribution to sustainability, as CO2 is avoided and coal consumption is reduced.
Yes. Solar power is a renewable energy source and does not produce any emissions. In 20 years, solar panels save about ten times the energy needed to produce them.
The solar modules used by Atlas SolarTec have a warranty of 25 years, the inverter has a warranty of 10 years.
Atlas SolarTec provides an app with which the current power consumption and the energy supplied by the solar system can be accessed online via the Internet at any location.
Yes. The app provides information on particularly power-hungry devices. Consumption can often be shifted to midday, e.g. for washing machines and dishwashers, swimming pool pumps and charging electric cars.
Ideally, the solar modules should face south at an elevation angle of approximately 20°. An east-west orientation is an alternative option.
kW means kilo Watt (1 kW = 1000 Watt) and refers to the power consumption of an electrical device. An LED has a consumption of about 5-10 W, a modern TV has a consumption of about 100-200 W and a kettle/electric cooker/oven/vacuum cleaner has a consumption of about 1000-2000 W.
kWh means kilo Watt hour. A television with a power consumption of 100 W requires an energy of 1000 Wh = 1 kWh in 10 hours.
kWp means kilo Watt peak. A 500 Wp solar module generates a maximum output of 500 watts under optimum conditions. A maximum output of 5 kW can therefore be generated with 10 of these modules. This means that several power-hungry devices can be operated during the day.
Yes. Atlas SolarTec has developed a free app for the Moroccan market that can be used to predict profitability after deducting investment costs. The link to the app can be found on this homepage.
